He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Hancock (LD) and Faye Hancock; his former life partner Rose; his stepdaughter Sherri; and his brothers, Donald (Duff) and Darwin Hancock.

He is survived by : his wife Carrie Albright; his daughter Marsha; his stepchildren, Tommy, Jennifer, Ed, Laurie and Dani; and his brother Dale Hancock (Carleen) of Munising. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew and several cousins.
