Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Esther Sanford of Cass City, Michigan, born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 15, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Johnston and Alice Johnston (Flory); her husband Richard Sanford; her stepmother Twyla Johnston; and her brother Don Johnston.

She is survived by : her children, Jodi Lynn Sanford Hayes of South Carolina, Ray Charles Sanford (Tammy) of Cass City and Alice Hudson of Caro; her grandchildren, Rory, Richard Hayes, David Sanford, Dalice, Lecretia and Hal Hudson, Jr. (Annie); and her brother Fred Johnston of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
