He was predeceased by : his parents, Betty Bolender (Schrader) and Paul W. Bolender; his siblings, Thomas Bolender and Paulette Rohr; his granddaughter Angelia Newburry; and his grandparents, John and Josephine Bolender.

He is survived by : his children, Angel Newburry (Isaac), Ashlee Suitto (Brian) and Jonathan Bolender (Megan); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Alex, Jessica, Adam, Emma, Chase, Zaiden and Jeffrey.
