We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2020, at the age of 91, John Robert Carey of Channing, Michigan, born in Sagola, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Carey and Mildred Carey (Hunting); his former wife Joanne Helgren; his brothers, Tom and Pat Carey; and his daughter-in-law Toni Carey.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne; his children, Debra Carey (Mark Serwe) of Bessemer, MI, James Carey (Deb) of Channing, MI and Barb Carey of Oxford, WI; his grandchildren, Chad Bruno, Michael Loy, Meagen "Pippi" Morrison, Ryan Carey (Kylie), Lindsay Carey, Erin Dillon (Justin) and Gretchen Carey (Emily Yerby); and his brothers, Micheal "Mickey" Carey (Marion) and Joe Carey (Bev). He is also survived by 14 Great- Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
