We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 83, Anne Marie Sarto Motyka in Charlevoix, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley "Pete" Coulter and Marie Coulter (Geary); her husband Leo David Sarto; her former life partner Joe Motyka; her brother Ed Coulter; and her daughter Julie.
She is survived by : her children, Ron Sarto (Dawn) of Ludington, Kathy Schmidt (Andy) of De Pere, WI, Beth Rich (Dale) of Charlevoix, Dan Sarto (Julee) of Ludington and Doug Sarto (Lisa) of Ludington; her grandchildren, Cassie Hackert (Brad), Maressa Sarto, Jessica Yohn (Sonny), David Schmidt (Brianna), Jennifer Bauman (Nick), Thomas Rich (Kirsten), Meridith Rich, Joseph Rich, Matthew Sarto, Rachel Sarto, Sophia Sarto, Rob Crisan, Patrick Gwiazdowski, Anna Gwiazdowski, Nicholas Sarto and Mackenzie Sarto; her sister-in-law Nancy Coulter; her brother Tom Coulter (Dube); and her stepson Daniel Motyka (Mary Lou). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Anne may be directed to the Ludington Area Catholic Education Foundation.
