It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Martinchek (Charlevoix, Michigan), born in Elmira, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John James and Betty James (Ballard); her husband Joseph Martinchek; and her siblings, Chuck James and Margaret Kubetz.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Martinchek of Charlevoix, David Martinchek (Katherine) of Charlevoix, Brian Martinchek of Charlevoix and Brenda Morgan (John) of Charlevoix; her siblings, Harriet Hilden of East Jordan, Myra Hoffman of Ellsworth, Marilyn Brown (Jack) of East Jordan and Bill James (Mary) of Charlevoix; and her grandchildren, Amy Wolfgang, Angela Bingman, Joey Palmer and Mikayla Martinchek.
