With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Tapani of Chassell, Michigan, born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen J. Tapani and Elizabeth "Betty" Tapani (Rothenburger); and his siblings, Michele Tapani Lane, Susie Walitalo and Gary Tapani.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly; his children, Jason Tapani (Carrie), Shawn "Biccu" Tapani (Shari) and Kelly Tapani; his grandchildren, JLyn Jorgenson, Alana Jorgenson (Cole Smaka) and Landen Mattson (Anna); his great grandchild Otto; his grandchildren, Tucker Tapani and Teegan Tapani; and his siblings, Ruthann Lindgren (Ed), Ron Tapani (Roberta) and Dave Tapani. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
