He was predeceased by : his father Jerome Verhaeghe; his wife Leona Goddyn; and his brother Andre. He is survived by : his children, Dale Verhaeghe (Karen), Jack Verhaeghe, Denise Verhaeghe and Dave Verhaeghe (Kristina); and his siblings, Joseph Verhaeghe, Maria De Prince and Gerard Verhaeghe. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
