He was predeceased by: his parent Allan Gerow; his great grandchild Nolan Webster; and his siblings, Bernard Gerow, Richard Gerow, Peggy Casner and Judy Rouse.

He is survived by: his parent Iva Gerow (Butler); his wife Kathryn of Clare; and his children, Laurie (Gerow), Greg Webster of Loomis, Debra (Gerow), Troy Bongard of Loomis, Mark, Rebecca Gerow of Coleman, Susan (Gerow), Steve Gambill of Pinconning, Matthew Lloyd and Kathaleen Gerow of Loomis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
