He is survived by : his wife Barbara Smock (Heineke); his sons, Jerome Hale (Steph) of Harrison and Jeffery Hale (Leslie) of Springport, Mi.; his stepchildren, Alger Smock (Mary), Julie Alderton, Aaron Smock (Patty), Phil Smock (Char) and Eric Smock (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jared, Jessica Hale, Zeth, Kristen Hale, Nathan, Chelsea Hale, Brandon, Tara Hale, Kegan and Stephanie Taylor; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Lincoln, River, Jolene, Jessica, Kaley, Sierra, Perrie, Austin, Allison, Taylor, Jozie, Johnny and Emmersyn; and his sisters, Mary Hale, Lois Ried (John) and Frances Bates. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
