He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley Hawrys (Robbins); his sons, Dennis Hawrys and Ronald Hawrys; his daughter-in-law Sandy (Ray Hawrys); and his parents, Donald Hawrys and Hildegard Brobecker.

He is survived by : his children, James (Theresa), Ray and Sharon Skinner (Ron); his grandchildren, Jamie Hawrys (Lori), Melanie Gordon (Ryan), Brittany Burns and Michael Hawrys; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Hawrys, Trent Markle and Paige Gordon.
