He is survived by: his children, Paul III Gareau (Jane), Mary Thut (Mark), Renee Williams (Jeff), Pete Gareau (Anne), Suzanne Bolter (Michael), Annette Bellante (Steve) and Chris Gareau; his grandchildren, Bryan (Brianna), Kristen (Jeevan), Mitchel (Olivia), Michael, Claire, Anna, Sabrina (Garrett), Elaine, Sam (Hailey), Grace, Rachel, Dominic, Casey, Molly and Joe; his great grandchild Daphne; and his siblings, Donna Gallagher (late Tom), Michael Gareau (Gayle), Diane Cammarato, Bill Gareau (late Sherry), Danielle Cifranic (late Lou), Ed Gareau (Marybeth), Tim Gareau (Patricia), Dennis Gareau (Debbie), Jeannine Narowitz (Mick), Mark Gareau and Patrick Gareau (Maureen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
