She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Vermeersch; and her children, Charles (Nancy) and LuAnn. She is survived by : her son Ken; her grandchildren, Lauren (Scott), Nicole (Brad), Erin (Catilan), Lesa (Larry Thompson) and Paula (Noel); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Harrison, Olivia, Alexander, Adrienne, Grayson, Hayes, McKenna, Brooklynn, Addison, Christian, Tyler (Micah), Spencer (Gillian) and Megan; and her sister Hellen Harrison.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resurrection Funeral Home (40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
