He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Kemner and Helene Kemner (Mergenthaler); his son Eric Kemner; and his granddaughter Piper Gates. He is survived by : his wife Doris Ann Herman; his son Michael Kemner (Sarah) of Brighton; his daughter-in-law Marie Gates (Brandon) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Lorelei Gates, Nathaniel Kemner, Grace Kemner, Owen Kemner, Colby Kemner, Mitchell Gates, Eva Kemner and Vivienne Gates; his brother Ray Kemner (Patsy) of Chelsea; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Herman of Tecumseh, Doug Herman (Mary) of Napoleon and Mary Rossettie (Mick) of Ann Arbor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family to be used according to their wishes.
