He is survived by: his spouse Amy Jo Marcum; his children, Wendy Chavez, Anthony Atkinson and Nicholas Atkinson; his grandchildren, Isabella, Jacob, Brayden, Olivia, Gabriel and Christopher; and his brothers, David Atkinson, Daniel Atkinson (Mary), Joel Atkinson (Lorie) and Steven Atkinson (Tammy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
