She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Francis, Lillian DeBruyne, Matt and Dorothy Kangas; and her cousin Steven.
She is survived by: her parents, Glenn Kangas and Christine Kangas (DeBruyne); her fiancé Garrett Hessling; her children, Timothy Smith, Cody Kangas, Thomas Keller, Mason Keller, Maria Hessling, Tucker Hessling, Chantael Hessling and Katie Hessling; her granddaughter Alexa; and her siblings, Laura Arrwood (Christopher), Paula Chalupa (Michael) and Jeffrey Kangas (Kristin). She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and a great niece and a great nephew.
