It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm G. Marson of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Malcolm G. Marson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Alys Henderson and Paul Light Marson; his son James Paul Marson; and his parents-in-law, Clark Gilchrist and Jean Gilchrist.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Marson of Coldwater; his children, Joshua Marson (Lindsey) of Bowling Green, KY. and Jennifer Marson-Reed (Dale Reed) of Grand Rapids, MI.; his grandchildren, Harper Kai Marson, Boone Joshua Neil Reed and Elijah Clark Marson; his pet Marley; his siblings, Stephen Marson of Quincy, MI. and Laura Mashinter (Lolly) of Rockford; and his nephews, Jason Gilchrist, Nathan Gilchrist, Zachary Watson and Payton Ramos. He is also survived by cousins, nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Marks Episcopal Church (27 E Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012). A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
