Danny touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Houghtaling and Phyllis Houghtaling; and his brothers, Jim and Tim. He is survived by: his daughters, Trisia Edwards (Ryan) and Amanda (Mike Skalecki); his grandchildren, Martina (Paul), Merissa (John), Nick and Alyson (Justin); his great grandchildren, Emery, Yanni, Owen and Wesley; his mother-in-law Lois; his brother-in-law John Robinson (Peggy); his close friends, Pat, Julie Miller, Wes and Velvet Simpson; Linda Grimes (Carl), Dawn Hyde (Terry Schoonover), Mike Houghtaling, Alan Houghtaling (Janet), Cindi Miles (Rob), Pam Barnard (Ken) and Gary Houghtaling.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 4262 N Washburn Rd, Davison, MI 48423.
Memorial contributions in memory of Danny may be made to the McLaren Hospice Foundation.
