He is survived by: his former wife Genevieve Bird; his wife Genny Carpenter; his sons, Daniel Carpenter (Liz) of Oakland County, Don Carpenter of Lapeer County and Bob Carpenter (Debbie) of Macomb County; his grandchildren, Andria, Tyler, Kaylie, Taylor, Skylar, Kyron and Kalaya; and his sister Leita of Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
