He is survived by : his wife Patti; his children, John Walsh, Jr. (Tara) of Florida, Leah Rutkowski (Stan) of Mt. Pleasant and Amy Smalley (Joe) of Columbus Township; his stepdaughters, Jessica Walz (Doug) of Columbus Township and Caitlin Walz of Columbus Township; his grandchildren, Emily Markel (Jay), Chase Markel and Joey Smalley; his siblings, MaryAnn Neiman (Richard) of Maryland, Michael Walsh (Marie) of Armada and Eileen Butz (Mark) of Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Walsh and Mary Weingartz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
