He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric Rickstad and Jeannette Rickstad (Solemn); his daughter Lisa; his brother Gary Rickstad Sr.; and his nephew Jimmy Joe.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Rickstad (Boyer); his sisters, Kris Blackburn (Jon) and Jill Brink (Don); and his friend Albert Cole. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
