With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Elaine Slager (Coopersville, Michigan), who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Elaine Slager to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Lee Slager; her children, Hunter Slager and Tani Lee Bouwman; and her former life partner Joseph Paul Sommerdyke. She is survived by : her son Ross Slager (Sally); her children-in-law, Linda Smith (Jerry) and Edward Bouwman; and her close friend William "Hap" Hecker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
