He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jagt and Nellie Vander Jagt (Eversdyke); his former wife Esther; his son Lonnie; and his siblings, Floyd Vander Jagt (Phyliss), Howard Vander Jagt, Florence Camfferman (Bert), Cora Scherencel (Ron), Lorraine Bolthuis (Ray) and Betty Baker (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Judy Kuiper (Bill), Ken Vander Jagt (Cindy) and Shelly Stegenga (Scott); his stepdaughters, Melany Isbell (Chris) and Sherry; his siblings, Donald Vander Jagt (Lorraine), Kenneth Vander Jagt (Grace), Rodger Vander Jagt (Cheryl), Ellen Rozema, Marion Alderink and Nancy Torgerson; and his sister-in-law Karen Vander Jagt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
