He is survived by: his wife Linda Wiersema (Busfield); his children, Stacy Vanderploeg, Laurie Searl (Garret), Mike Wiersema (Mary), Randy Cook and Crystal Pruett (Nick); his sister Janice Osterbeck (Andre); his mother-in-law Marian Busfield; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Bellinger, Beth Kurizenga (Jeff) and Donald Busfield (Sandy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
