It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Sanchez (Conklin, Michigan), born in Marianna, Arkansas, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Sanchez and Aurelia Sanchez; her siblings, Hector, Pedro, Roberto, Ricardo, Adam, Daniel, Eva Maria Sanchez and Lidia Galvan; her granddaughter Megan Arminia Sanchez; her parents-in-law, Fidel Calderon and Guadalupe Zamora; her siblings-in-law, Ruben Calderon, Pablo Sanchez, Audra Taylor and Graciela Sanchez; and her nephews, George Yorn and Gregory Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Rigoberto Calderon Zamora; her children, Johnny Sanchez Jr. and Zonia Martinez (Sergio); her grandchildren, Juan Francisco, Eva Zonia, Gabriel Fidencio Martínez, Dominic (Jade) and Emma Grace Sanchez; her great grandchildren, Ella and Micah Sanchez; her siblings, Emma Martinez and Benito Sanchez; her in-laws, Teresa Sanchez, Manuel Rivera, Ester, Rosa, Raul, Santiago and Napoleon Calderon; her siblings' children, Christina De Leon, Victoria Banks (Brett), Patricia Kloberdanz (Johnathan), Veronica Castillo (Lalo), Angela, David Jairo (Taya Elisa), Ellis Gavin, Rosa Sanchez (Julio), Yesenia Cruz (Rudy), Rachel Melendez (Adrian), Jeremy Reséndiz, Johnny Calderon (Amy), William Taylor, Andrea, Keila, Devin and Adam Sanchez; and her cousins, Katerina Vite (Marciano), Juana Jimenez (Antonio), Yolanda Hernandez (Mauricio) and Judy Romo (Leandro).
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph-Wright Catholic Church (18784 8th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Coopersville Cemetery (543 Cleveland St W, Coopersville, MI 49404).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Hispanic Ministry of St. Joseph-Wright Catholic Church 18784 8th Avenue Conklin, MI 49403.
