With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald Ruwersma of Coopersville, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Ruwersma and Ruth Ruwersma; and his in-laws, Rosemary Rasch, Dan Rasch, Terry Rasch, Robin Rasch and Ron Knapp.
He is survived by: his wife Denise (Rasch); his children, Troy Ruwersma (Andrea), Chad Ruwersma (Nikki), Terry Ruwersma, Jamilyn Ruwersma (Ted Goodno) and Becky Vroma; his grandchildren, Madison, Hunter, Emma, Brielle, Sophie, Maya and Marquis; his siblings, Ruthann Gregones (Fred Ransom), Wes Ruwersma (Linda), Bob Ruwersma (Michelle) and Rand Ruwersma (Cindy); and his in-laws, Chris Knapp, Charlene Rasch, Steve Rasch (Sue), Bill Rasch, Chuck Rasch (Sue), Deb Clelland (Dave), Julie Meerman (Joe), Robbi VanTimmeren (Steve), Jackie Rasch, Gerrie Morgan (Mark) and Marty Rasch (Candi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary (3525 Remembrance Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (18784 8th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403).
