It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zechariah James Tanis of Coral, Michigan, born in Yuma, Arizona, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, James Tanis and Kimberly Tanis; his brother Jacob; his grandparents, Jim, Martha Tanis, Eugene and Cynthia Draper; his aunts, Heidi Meuller (Wayne) and Shelly Miller (Frank); his uncle Kevin Draper; and his cousins, Ben, Owen, Josh, Lauren Mueller, Bealey, Brooke and Brian Herald.

Due to Covid masks and social distancing protocal will be strictly followed.

In lieu of flowers, people may make donations that will go to the following: Jacob's continued pursuit of higher education, purchasing a few outdoor plants (roses, ferns, and hostas) because of Zack's love of nature to build a garden, and a memorial fund to Cowden Lake Christian Church.
