He was predeceased by: his children, Ethel Marie Jackson (Jackson), Derrick Patrick Jackson and Darnell Francis Jackson; his parents, Ethel Jackson (Davenport) and Arthur Jackson; his former wife Patricia Ann Jackson; and his siblings, James Sterling Jackson and Corrine Hughes (Jackson).
He is survived by: his children, Martin Steven Jackson and Patrice Arlene Jackson; his wife Shirley Faye Gregory; his niece Charlette Hughes; his sister-in-law Janis Welch; and his cousins, Alathia Evans and Gregory Davenport. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
