He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Brenda, Lavonne (Bonnie) of Holland and Beverly Swans of Buffalo; his stepchildren, William, Diane Ivory of Holland and Cathy Carter of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his brother Robert Swans of Hampton, Virginia. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
