She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dunn and Elizabeth Peoples; her husband John Henry Toliver; her siblings, Alvin Johnson and Betty Jean Small; and also, Simon Bruton and Mary Bruton.
She is survived by: her children, Rueben Eugene Bruton (Roxanne), Cheri Ann Richardson (Ron), Mary Joann Bruton, Leaman Bruton (Sabina), John DeCarlos Toliver (Kristin) and Willie Jamar Toliver (Zanetta); her daughters-in-law, Sharon Wilburn and Charlotte Bruton; her daughter Patrice Strong; and her nieces, Dorothy Razor and Meril Goodwin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends.
