He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Sullivan; his stepfather Harold Sikkila; his grandparents, Elsie, Tim Sullivan, Ida and Ernest Salonen; and his niece Holly Sullivan.

He is survived by: his mother Kay Sikkila; his brothers, Ron Sullivan (Jennifer) and Bill Sikkila (Jeanne) of L'Anse, JR; his nieces, Casey Skoglund (Pete), Kristen Beesley (Noah), Andrea Sikkila, Bobbie Sikkila and Shelby Fredricks (Tyler); and his godson Jace Sikkila.
