It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert David Ranella (Davison, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ranella and Irma Ranella (David); his parents-in-law, Tony and Theresa Pellegrino; and his sister-in-law Arlene Ranella.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Pellegrino; his children, Toni Marie Ranella and Albert Ranella (Jill); his granddaughters, Rachel, Kristen, Kali, Lindsey, Traci, Nicole and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Jayden, Alexander, Mikayla, Alaynah, Zoe, Karson and Analise; and his siblings, Jim Ranella and Sandra Crighton (Louie).
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date due to the inability to gather because of the world pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Albert's name.
