He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Lee; and his sister Darlene Bleau. He is survived by: his parent Evelyn Doty (Martindale); his wife Lou Ellen; his children, Christel Kohn (Jack), Amy Lynne Doty and Amanda Tanner (William); his grandchildren, Chelsea Gutierrez, Nicholas Carl Cheek and Alison Aleta Tanner; and his siblings, Otis "Randy" Doty, Linda, Meyer and David Doty (Louise). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
