She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Amy Shaffer (Miller); her husband William "Bill" Coleman Kidd; her great grandchild Alasyia Murdock; her siblings, Fern Skillman, Bertha Bentley, Carl Shaffer and Richard "Dick" Shaffer; and her brother-in-law John Kidd.
She is survived by: her children, Neva Keller (Mark), Amy Kidd, Willie Kidd (Janet), Nina Herveux (David), Cindy Schultz and Greg Kidd (Kristi); her grandchildren, Joseph Thorpe (Heather), Justin Thorpe, Melissa Schultz, Stephen Schultz (Stacie), Tara Schultz, Nathanial Kidd and Kenneth Kidd; her siblings, Miles Shaffer, Vernon Shaffer (Jean), Arnold Shaffer (Cindee), Ronald Shaffer (Sylvia), Janice Lenard, Myrna Gillett (John), Linda Roseberry and Beth Davis (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, Barlow Kidd (Fran) and Leah Kidd. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison Ardell Rebekah Lodge, in Carmen's memory.
