She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Sterling and Marion Sterling (Hobson); her spouse James Douglas Sloan; her children, Julie Harrow (John), Robin Sloan (Tim Allen), James Dean Sloan (Jill), Kevin Sloan (Lynn), Stephanie Hawkins (Bill) and Daniel Sloan (Rhonda); and her siblings, Don Sterling (Pat), Yvonne Taylor and Alice Manser. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lapeer County Animal Shelter, in Caroline's memory.
