He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arvin Hoffmeyer, Betty Hoffmeyer and Pearl Nicolai. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Hoffmeyer and Michelle Hoffmeyer; his brothers, Trent (Sara), Trevor and Dustin; his grandfather Bill Nicolai; and his uncles, Cindy Lake, Bill Nicolai (Debbie), Chuck Nicolai (Crystal), Dominic Nicolai (Molly) and Anne Ptaszenski (Robert). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
