With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris (Saari) J. Piper (Davison, Michigan), born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on November 7, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jalmer Saari and Martha Saari; her husband Justin Piper; her son David Piper; her siblings, Arvid Saari and Ruth Laituri (Edwin); and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Gronczewski and Sylvia Shinska.
She is survived by: her children, John Piper (Julie) and Amy Salisbury; her daughter-in-law Debra Piper; and her sister-in-law Elaine Saari. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, in memory of Doris.
