She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Mays and Anna B. Mays (Tye); her spouse Sidney Grant Justice; and her brother George A. Mays. She is survived by: her children, Anita Merriwether, Yvette Justice (Marcus Jackson), Craig Justice and Keith Justice (Tammy); her grandchildren, Jaamel Merriwether and Erica Jackson; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Kieana, Allana and Rylan; and her siblings, Mary Alice, Omega, Curtis and Tommy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Justice Family Trust.
