He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Caryl; and his sister Hannah Kauffman. He is survived by: his parent Lillian Caryl (Harrison); his wife Carol; his children, Kathryn Wilhite (Robert), Michael Caryl (Joyce Davis) and Russell Caryl; his daughter-in-law Kris; his grandchildren, Nicole Stack, Tammy Young (Rob), Rebecca Wilhite, Karinda Hancock (Nick), Jesse Caryl and Travis Caryl; his sister DeAn McDaniel (Robert); and his brother-in-law Harold Kauffman. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
