He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Demerly and Lottie Demerly (Richter); and his brother Robert Demerly. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Demerly; his children, Deborah Harvey (Russell), Denise Lukonen and David Lukonen; his grandchildren, Nicole (Zach), Ryan (Katrina), Aaron, Heather (Ryan) and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Addison, Alex and Jeramiah; his brother Ron Demerly (Judy); and his sister-in-law Harriett Demerly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
