He was predeceased by: his parents, Neville Brasseur and Madalynne Brasseur; and his sister Sandy Bryson (Al). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Dean Brasseur; his brother Ron Brasseur (Irene); his daughters, Lisa Brasseur-Garety (Michael) and Sandra Lynn Griffin (Jim); his brother-in-law Al Bryson; his stepchildren, Wendy Sytek (Dave), Tammy Stokes, Jimmy Gilbert (Tonia) and Renee Crowder Baugh; his grandchildren, Erica Brasseur, Andrew Sytek, Courtney Griffin, Alexander Griffin, Cameron Griffin and Austin Garnsey; his great grandchildren, Layla Kleis, Parker Griffin, Averie Griffin and Spencer Larry Griffin; his nephews, Scott Bryson (Tonya) and Ron Brasseur (Tonya); and his niece Julie Mitchell (Ben).
