He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Charland and Nellie Charland (Washburn); and his sister Katie Houle. He is survived by: his spouse Catherine Betty Wash; his children, Steve Charland (Sherry), Renee LaRocque (Dennis), Brenda Wade (Scott) and Melissa Lusher; his grandchildren, Brandon Charland (Julie), Bridget Charland, Matthew LaRocque, Kevin LaRocque (Brittany), Andrea LaRocque and Nathan Wade; his great grandchildren, Keith, Amelia and Evelyn; and his sibling Marion Houle of Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church Building Fund or Michigan Singing Knights.
