He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton McDaniel and Harriet McDaniel (West); his son David McDaniel; his sister Delores Kolinski (McDaniel); and his great grandchild Brantley David Mayer.
He is survived by: his wife Jean McDaniel (Smith); his children, Cheryl Tasson, Scott McDaniel and Annette McDaniel-Fox (Brien); and his grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeremy), Joseph and Riley. He is also survived by three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
