She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Massie and Germaine Massie (Preville); her husband Earl W. Montpas; and her siblings, Jody Mastic and Margaret Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Montpas (Margaret), Katherine Blackmon (Steve), Teresa Miller, Janet L. Nord (Don), Karen S. Kraemer and Mary Jean Montpas; her grandchildren, Andrew, Jeffery, Shannon, Jonathan, Cory, Amber, Megan, Jeremy, Bryan, Tammi, Christopher and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Michaela, Kaden, EmmaLee, Klaire, Bailey, Ryen, Ryder, Radley, Reece, Abby, Avery, Jori and Vallyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Outreach East, Reverence Hospice or to a charity of one's choice in Shirley's name.
