He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Yanta and Verna Yanta (Lepinski); the mother of his children Erma Yanta; and his son Michael Yanta. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mann Yanta; his children, Robert Yanta (Kim), Carol Campbell (Dave), Vickie Smith and Paula Yanta; his stepdaughters, Carolyn Borrow, Mary Sontag (Harvey) and Lucinda Mann (Jim Augsberger); his grandchildren, Michael Yanta (Tara), Melissa Floridda (Mike), Tara Furno, Jamie Sclafani, Jerry Lee Strauser, Jerrad Strauser and Cody Lewis (Sarah); his brothers, Simon Yanta (Barbara) and James Yanta (Susan); and his friends, Jim, Ruby and Isaac Jordan. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
