He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Rogers and Nellie Rogers (Wager); and his siblings, Bill and Rose Mary. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Flora; his children, Alison Bayley (Jeff), Ted Rogers (Tammy) and Kevin Rogers; his grandchildren, Brendon (Sarah), Colin (Elizabeth), Jared Bayley (Ellie), Theo Rogers, MD (Julia) and Craig Rogers; and his siblings, Wallace Rogers and Harriet Benson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
