It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valarie Noreen Thompson (Davison, Michigan), born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Everett; and her sister Vivian Heikkinen. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Kimberly Thompson), Paula (Dave Realy), Heather (Kevin Stephen), Heidi (Daniel Mount), Holly (Jason Sloan), Amanda, Lauren, Lindsay, Aaron, Emily, Andrew, Joshua, Allison, Alivia, Jenna, Katelynn, Jacob, Justin, Alexander and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Mia of Abram, Ella and Noah; her mother Doris Sunde; and her sisters, Bernard Sunde, Esther (Don Garton), Erwin (Caroline Sunde) and Becky (Charlie Wissner).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Valarie's name can be made to the family to be used for a charity of the family's choice.
