With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Ivey (Davison, Michigan), born in Fraser, Michigan, who passed away on March 19, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Ivey and Electa F. Ivey (Wells); his spouse Shirley Steele; his daughter Joni Goodall; and his sister Diane Schukait.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Ivey (Georgia), Walter Ivey and Susan Parker; his grandchildren, Tony, Michelle, Ian, Phoebe, Devin, Amanda, Wally, Brandon, Dustin and Sierra; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas, Trenton, Nathan, Taryn, Noelle, Aubrey, Colin, Avira and Emmett; his son-in-law Terry Goodall; and his siblings, Randy Ivey (Carol), John Ivey (Angie), George Ivey (Candy) and Annie Schnell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project .
