He was predeceased by : his son Kenneth Courtney; his grandson Robert Mink; and his brother Dean Lowery. He is survived by : his children, Terry "Doc" Courtney (Debbie), Brian Courtney (Diana Osborne), David Lowery, Derek Lowery, Nathan Whitehead and Kristopher Casey; his grandchild Terry David; and his siblings, Norma Hill, Charles Lowery (Shelly), Donnie Lowery (Pam), Jimmy Lowery (Ruth Ann), LeRoy Lowery, Jerry Lowery and Freddie Lowery.
