With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Ann Burkett Houtman of Decatur, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Long and Florence Long (Hamann); her former husband Charles Burkett; her husband Burton Houtman; and her daughter Karen Sprang (Stan).
She is survived by: her family, Gloria, Charles and Decatur; her children, Tim Burkett (JoAnn), Bruce Burkett (Lori), Tom Burkett (Linda), Kelly Burkett (Leslie) and Jan Wilson (Randy); Debbie Stull (Ken) and Susie Soave (John). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
